I am officially over chick lit. I used to read it cos the book covers were the prettiest of the lot (haha, yes, I was always a bimbo at heart) and I really couldn't give two hoots about anything more intellectual than love pyramids, adolescent bitchfits... Yada. Now, reading anything remotely related to those senseless rantings just turns me off. I'm into mystery (have always been actually) and other more acclaimed novels like Memoirs of a Geisha, etc. Stuff that's deeper, more emotionally intimate. It's funny how much we change isn't it? It is really true that as you grow up, your thinking changes so much and you start to wonder which parts of you will remain the same. What makes you YOU forever? What can define you as an individual?
